To start, I could write a novel about our son... and it would be full of footnotes about how amazing my man Jeff is.... Seriously, how and when did I become so lucky??
Both of them found "later" in life than most, and both so incredibly worth the wait.
We are officially in love all over again.

K&C in FLA-- Gave A. your letter and photos of your gal A... He was SO TOUCHED, really happy, smiled at every picture and pointed to how chubby her cheeks were then said "they are such a nice family" --
Kirov Crew home -- He was DELIGHTED (well, my interpretation, you all know him! :) ) with big smiles to see the photos of all the kids I brought this time -- he said something about being so glad they all are growing well and happy!!!

Truly.. I am so excited. I have the prayer train going 24/7. I had everything crossed, but got a few strange looks sitting hear in my cubicle. So I went back to just praying while at work.

You are all not alone in being on pins and needles waiting to see how Court went. As Amy's mom, I'm with you 10 fold. Kris, who has been supportive, not only of Amy and Jeff but of Amy's mom at this point, assures me that things should be fine(she's been there done that. We know how things change minute to minute in IA, so maybe they are out celebrating with the group or maybe, instead of waiting to leave for Moscow Thursday, they flew or took the train out today. I'm going to hold the thought that this child was meant for them, that there would be no reason to have a problem in court with such wonderful potential parents and that we will hear from them as soon as they can communicate. If I know Amy she is fretting because she can't let us know all is fine. I'm sure she will e-mail family when she can about how it went and will post a blog for all to see. In the meantime, thanks for loving them so much and we will still keep those good thoughts and prayers headed their way. Diana
Don't fret everyone! I am sure they are fine! We had a very rough day the day of court. Court in the morning and then ran around for at least 8 hours, well in to the evening dropping off paperwork and gifts at all the government offices. We never saw our kids on our adoption day. I am certain they are fine and just fell in to bed when they got back to the hotel late at night.

hi, guys!
you all crack me up -- i am sorry, i was fretting i couldn't get to email, and Tanya is correct -- it was literally hours and hours (about 6 for us) of running around for papers -- i think the ONLY reason we got to see our kids was b/c the German families needed ot leave tomorrow (we can't until Friday for some reason) and so they needed to pick their kids up - flight at 6am -- so we got to go and play w/ our boys while they prepped their kids to leave their baby home and prepare for the next chapter of their lives.
all is well -- we are well, and we are so happy everyone is with us and supporting our journey!
more details tomorrow! I am heading upstairs to my man :) love to all!
