“It’s all good” Rom. 8:28

A lifetime to dream,
And years of planning to come true,

And of my dear husband,
I am so glad all this is with you…

Together we stood thru the bumps and the turns,
Each one of them nutty and made our hearts churn,
Then, “poof”, it happened, on one Easter Day,
The "paper pregnancy fun" was all blown away ---
His big brown eyes and his beautiful smile,
We knew the moment we met him --
It had all been worthwhile…

We busied ourselves with work and boat play,
We cleaned and we shopped and we painted his room,
In hopes that we would get our court date,

And return to him soon.

The time has come, I am so glad to say –
We leave not but tomorrow, for tomorrow is TODAY!!
The bags are packed,

the pup tucked away at Gamma and Granddad's,
he is just full of worry,
But, Yes, YAHOO it’s true,
It’s time for the next part of our adoption story

We are heading back to Moscow,
Then out to his region, by choo choo train,
(sure hope we sleep, somehow!)
Oh, it will be so amazing to have him in our arms again!

Wonder if he remembers us,
And how much more he now babbles…
But, of course we know it ain’t a full deal
Until our Russian Judge Judy drops that darn gavel!!

Then A. will come home with us,
To our neck of the woods…
And, with this all that I can say is, well, man,
“It’s all good”.
