Things do do while waiting..

waiting.
waiting.
waiting.
As Tom Petty phrased it, and I loved to shout out when it played 20 some years ago back in college, yes, the waiting is the hardest part.
Since the start of this blog, we decided that passive waiting was no good at all.
We took a few steps to throw some fishing lines out in the water with fresh bait, and found projects to keep us busy.
Jeff is building us a fence and a floating dock and ramp, with a gated entry. Yes, my friends, no longer do you (or I!) need to hold my breath at our next summer gathering as you or your children head to the edge of our yard -- there is now a really cute fence that blocks anyone from deciding they'd like to see if they can "cliff dive" off of our wall. Last weekend, my handy guy finished the framing of the floating dock and it is officially a-floating!! After a big rain last night, yes, it not only looks good and floats, but it does stay floating in higher waters! Go Jeff!
We also went down to LBI for a 4 day jaunt with Ashton -- he LOVED the water!! and out to California for 4 days visiting w/ Brian, Susan, Matt, Jonelle, Karen, Kevin, and all their kids.. It was a really fun time.
So, wait wait wait...
